Microblading

What Is Microblading
And What Can It Do For Me?

Microblading is a popular semi-permanent makeup technique that creates the appearance of individual hairs on the skin for perfectly natural looking eyebrows. By using a small blade comprised of tiny pins, the pigment of your choice is deposited just uunder the skin in the shape and orientation of hairs to create more fullness, restore volume, change or enhance the shape, and even create the appearance of eyebrows in cases where hair has been completely lost. Our microblading specialist and senior esthetician Cassie has a keen eye for artistic design and facial harmony/symmetry. She will work with you to design the perfect shape to match your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do the results last?

Depending on how fast your body metabolizes the iron oxide in the pigment, results last between 12-18 months. The benefit of microblading not being a completely permanent result is that your brows can change in shape and colour as you do!

Does it hurt?

We apply a topical anesthetic 30 minutes before your treatment, making it virtually painless.

Does the treatment require downtime?

You cannot get your new brows wet for 48 hours after the treatment. After the first 48 hours, you can wash your face as usual but be mindful not to scrub the brows with anything harsher than your fingertips. We recommend using a gentle cleanser with no acidic compounds. Your brows will be darker for the first 7-10 days and will then gradually fade to the desired colour.

Is my touch up included?

A touch-up is included 6 weeks after your initial treatment. This allows time for you to get used to your eyebrows and decide if you would like them darker or fuller, or for the shape to be tweaked in any way.
